Get Ready

Welcome to our new way of doing things. I will try to update this blog on each Sunday night. I have taken much time off and done some rethinking on this blog. While next week and the week after, I will try to finish up the wind generator plans for those of you who might be waiting for them, I will then be doing things somewhat different. I will be jumping around to various aspects of survivalism as I see it. Why the change? I believe the time is coming soon when you will need certain skills and I will try to focus on them. What do I see coming? I see the attempt at a complete takeover of our private lives by our government. For those of you who are unaware of it, I currently have another blog which is political. I have also taken some time off from that one and will be updating that one on Sunday nights also. http://therealamericanpolitics.blogspot.com/ is the other blog. If you are at all interested in the politics of what is going to happen go there and follow that blog as well as this one.

I will just give you a short reasoning of why it believe the way I do. First there is immigration. We are supposedly fighting a war on terror, yet we have an open border policy on the south border of the country. Not only Mexicans and other hispanics are coming in that way but many middle eastern illegals. How many of these are possible terrorists? Only God knows for sure. Many of these Mexican illegals are here to take back a portion of our southwest which they claim is their own. They fly Mexican flags, speak spanish and hate gringos. This could get bad enough for the government to declare martial law. I believe the government is behind the Balkinization of this country. That is one way they could claim martial law is necessary; to avoid a civil war. I already consider it a war as I consider all illegal immigrants as invaders. The senate bill, which the president backs is nothing short of total amnesty. They can call it what they want, but if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and has feathers, it is a DUCK.

Another thing is the economy. While they tell us that the economy is great, they keep shipping jobs overseas and giving those in this country to the illegals. This drives wages down and people are living well beyond their means and using more and more credit. The fed keeps raising the interest rate to keep inlation down they say. As they raise rates, credit card interest goes up, adjustable rate mortgages go up and soon people cannot pay their bills. With the new bankruptcy laws there is no longer a way for people who lost jobs or have medical bills to start over. This is being done to complete the property power grab that the supreme court started when they made their decision against private property. Soon there will be no private property unless the government LETS some people own some. As banks take over people's homes and other property, there are going to be riots and other uprisings. Once again, the government could declare martial law or we could all be fighting in the streets to keep what we own. We could be fighting for food, shelter or anything else.

These are just two possible scenarios that I see the possibility of. There are several others all playing out at the same time. I believe that the government is behind all of them and is just waiting to see which one is going to be the trigger. The patriot acts have taken away much of our freedoms and the rest could be taken with the stroke of a pen. This is why I am changing the direction of this blog. It will still be a survival blog, it is just that I will now be concentrating on what is going on in the country now and how to counter it. See you next week.
